New Zealand government introduces new travel rules

The NZeTA(New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority) becomes mandatory next month, travel agents should now check that customers who are travelling to New Zealand have their NZeTA.

Immigration New Zealand requests that your organisation communicates this important information to travel agents in your country, so that they are aware of the change and are able to assist their customers.

From 1 October 2019, it will be mandatory for many visitors and transit passengers to hold an NZeTA before they board their plane or cruise to New Zealand.Find out who needs an NZeTA.

If your organisationrequires assistance or further information, contact us at nzeta.information@mbie.govt.nz.
